#1 – Private  On-line Class

 

On-line Teacher (Flexible Days)

Hiring one teacher for the following class: 

Small group of international students located overseas, youth and young adults, planning to continue studies in North America

Teaching vocabulary, pronunciation, general structure and basic usages. Guiding students in speaking and writing sentences with the most common verb tenses.

Work with Conversation Volunteers to provide speaking opportunities in even smaller groups of two or three.

 

Time:

1.5 hours per lesson, plus 30 minutes of office hours after each lesson

Twice a week: two non-consecutive evenings per week

 

Qualifications:

Teaching experience, whether in K-12, Higher Education, Community Settings, Workplace Settings or Overseas

Experience working with immigrant and refugee families, international students, or other English learners

Sensativity to the situations of immigrant and refugee families or international students, especially with respect to their home countries

Reliable and consistent internet access

Pacific Standard, Rocky Mountain and Alaska time zones preferred
