Step 1: Watch this video: Simple Past (ESL Library)
Part 1: Write down ten regular verbs, both the basic form & the past tense form:

Part 3: Write ten sentences (not a paragraph) about things you did in the past. Finish or begin each sentence with a phrase that indicates, or shows, the time.
Example: I washed my clothes last night. OR Last night, I washed my clothes.
Part 4: Re-watch Family Album USA, Episoder 7, 1:28 -5:40. Look at what Robbie did, what Alexandra did, and what the dog did.
Pay attention only to the actions. Ignore what they say.
Write six sentences (not questions) using SIMPLE PAST tesnse. What the sentences about what Robbie, Alexandra, and the dog did, not what they said.
Examples:
Alexandra used Robbie’s walkman to listen to music.
Robbie moved closer to Alexandra.

Look at each sentence.
Write the negative version of the same sentence.
Note: You don’t need to copy the first sentence from the book. Just write the second sentence.
Homework Part 2, Textbook 6.2
Look at the pictures table. Use the information in the table to write positive and negative sentences with “like”.
6.2 #1 is about “jazz”.
6.2 #2 is about “boxing”.
6.2 #3 is about “horror movies”
Homework Part 3, Textbook 6.3
Use the words (in parentheses) to make sentences.
Write complete sentences.
Write sentences that are true for you.
Start each sentence in one of these three ways:
(1) “I never” + verb _____.
(2) “I ” + verb _____ + a lot.
OR
(3) “I don’t ” + verb _____ + very often.

Part 1: Simple Present:
Write two paragraphs.
Write one paragraph about your life now.
Choose one classmate. Write write a paragraph about your classmate’s life now.
Start your paragraphs like this:
Example 1: ____ live/lives in ___________ now.
Example 2: These days, my/ ____’s life is _______.
Example 3: My/ ____’s life is different now than it was before.
This homework is about you and one of your classmate’s lives now. Use Simple Present tense. Write about what he or she does and what his or her life is like now. Write five or more sentences for each person. Use the information from Conversation: Life now and before (started last Saturday).
Part 2: Simple Past:
